Grain by grain i see the sand around me fall.
Massive winds carrying them within it.
Large waves seem to be crashing down.
Where shall one hide from the storm?
It twists and it turns forgetting I’m here.
It rises and falls like the glistening ocean.
It rises so high the wall seems endless.
Where shall one find safety in turmoil?
I try and dig my way out of a shelter not welcome.
I run to hide from storms i wish not to see.
I cannot wrap my mind around this reality.
Where shall one run from fate and emotion?
It forms great dunes overhead of me.
It swallows the world i know in one bite.
It consumes who i am feeding on my fear.
Where shall one hide from the storm within.
