FAB LAB Ioannina

Topotheque Design Studio designed and constructed the interiors of Fab Lab Ioannina, a newly founded Digital Fabrication Laboratory. Situated at KEPAVI-The Center for Traditional Handicraft of Ioannina , Fab Lab Ioannina is a platform for the development of Innovative Technologies which sets to explore how Digital Fabrication, Information and Communication Technologies applied in different disciplines can create more efficient economic, social, productive and education models in the different local contexts of the region of Greece as well as outside Greece. KEPAVI is located by the Pamvotis Lakefront, in the center of Ioannina and the premises were designed by the much respected Atelier 66 from Athens to provide work and exhibition space to the local silversmiths and makers.
